The first annual Forum on Business and Human Rights will be held from 4 to 5 December 2012 in Geneva. The main focus of the Forum is to discuss trends and challenges in the implementation of the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights for implementation of the UN "Protect, Respect and Remedy" Framework. The first annual Forum will be chaired by Professor John Ruggie, former Special Representative of the Secretary-General on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises.The provisional agenda and registration details can be accessed on the webpage of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
